How to make Windows 10 Bootable USB for Installation Windows?
To create a bootable USB drive for Windows 10 installation, follow these steps:
- Download the Windows 10 ISO file from the Microsoft website.
- Download and install a tool such as Rufus on your PC.
- Connect a USB drive with at least 8 GB of storage to your PC.
- Open Rufus and select the USB drive you want to use as the destination.
- Choose "MBR" or "GPT" depending on the partition scheme of your PC's hard drive. If you are unsure, select "MBR".
- Under "File system," select "NTFS".
- Click the "Select" button and choose the Windows 10 ISO file you downloaded in step 1.
- Ensure that the "Create a bootable disk using" option is set to "ISO Image".
- Leave the "File system options" at their default values.
- Click the "Start" button to begin the process.
- Wait for the process to complete. This may take several minutes.
- Once Rufus has finished creating the bootable USB drive, safely remove it from your PC.
- You can now use the bootable USB drive to install Windows 10 on your PC. To do this, insert the USB drive into your PC and restart your computer. Note: Rufus is just one example of a tool that can be used to create a bootable USB drive. Other tools, such as the Windows Media Creation Tool, can also be used to achieve the same result.
