Revolution in Electric Car Battery. Tesla make it happened ?
Scientists have been making research since long to invent a best solution for a powerful battery to be fixed in vehicles. During recent years, bio fuel engine make remarkable progress in fuel efficiency, power and speed. But on the other side, there is risk to depend on bio fuels completely which can be finish any time during coming years that is why hybrid cars were invented with electric motor which consumes less fuel but these vehicles were not as per desired standard like complete electric cars. They consumes less fuel in short range travel and during long range travel they consume fuel like conventional cars because when speed of these cars reach at 60 km per hour, engine starts and start using fuel. Mercedes Benz and Tesla are working on a powerful Lithium battery with qualities long range and quick charge abilities. Mercedes Benz declared that they will produce a battery for their Vision EQXX prototype vehicle which will cover 965 kilometer in single charge. Conventional lithium ION batteries are not so good due to energy density limitations. Earlier this issue was tried to solve to establish more charging stations. An American Detroit based company Our Next Energy (ONE) has made it possible to make range of battery upto double as compared to conventional Lithium ION batteries and highest range of any mass-produced bio fuel powered vehicles. A Tesla vehicle with a next generation battery was travelled more than 1200 kilometers in a single charge. Majeeb Ijaz CEO of the company announced the success of their test drive. He said, we want to remove range tension of electric vehicles and by this way we will provide long distance trips on a single charge by improving cost and safety. He named this battery product GeminiTM and an innovative Lithium Iron Phosphate design for this has been used.
